There I was alone and scared
standing on the side of neighborhood road with a man I didn’t know. We were standing
in front of a dark house that was under construction. I was crying and feared
for my life, the man calmed me down and said it was going to be okay. He was right
I saw a familar black Mercedes speeding toward us and it just stopped in front of us. My dad burst
through the door and picked me and held me and said that he loved me. He then
told me to go in the car and wait for him. The man that I was with saved my
life and my dad was overwhelmed and grateful. The man then explained that he
works at the house, he was a builder. He was on his way home when he heard me,
running the through the house. I was running straight towards an unfinished
pool that was 12 feet deep and had nails and other supplies at the bottom. I was
running straight toward it and the man came running and stopped me just a few
inches before I fell in. My dad was overwhelm and gave the man his thanks and
gave him a gift “money” for saving his only son. This is what happened for it
to get to this point. My mom, sister and I were driving home from McDonalds and
my mom stopped at an unfinished house to look at it, because we needed a house.
So she walked in and looked around. I then told my sister lynley to stay in the
car because I was going to scare mommy she nodded and I was off to scare my
mom. Somehow we went by each other and she went back to the car and drove home
unknowing that I was in the house. The reason she didn’t check that I was in
the car is I was sleeping before so she assumed that I was still sleeping. I wondered
around the house looking for her. I then began to panic and run through the
house yelling “Mommy! Mommy! Where are you?” I then started to run to the back
yard and I didn’t see the pool, I was then grabbed and I was on the ground. There
was a man who was standing there panting ( he literally sprinted to save me). Unknowing to me this man saved my
life. I freaked even more and I asked if he saw my mom he said “no son but she
will be back, let’s go sit by the road and wait for her. This experience is the
closest that I have ever come to death, and if wasn’t for that man I would not
be sharing this story with you all. I never learned the man name but I am extremely
grateful.
Mike- excellent job! You absolutely grab my attention with that first image.
